Dipping my toes into tooling and I was wondering beyond the general getting a feel for it how deep I should be doing my initial cuts and how hard I should be stamping? My stamp set isn’t great and I definitely overcompensated with decorative cuts on the tail end but I’m having so much fun ????????5 oz veg tan scrap and antiqued with an unholy concoction of burnt umber and gel oil paint medium I had kicking around
