Shishito pepper powder
| My shishitos started out super mild, but got way too hot halfway through the year. I was having to cut out the piths to eat them. So I just let them go red, dried them, and then used my air fryer to finish dehydrating. This is the result. It’s still spicy without the seeds and much of the pith removed. It’s got a superb flavor though (toasty and complex). Might try to make some kimchi or something. [link] [comments] |
