Found this article about this woman Ariel who's been living completely off the grid since 2014. No utility bills, no rent, nothing. And she's doing it in the most badass way possible.

She hunts her own food (including elk!), grows everything else she needs, and lives in this perfectly designed tiny house that's seriously making me question my life choices and monthly bills right now.

The way she handled the whole water/heating situation is actually genius - especially for dealing with freezing temperatures. Her entire setup probably costs less than what most of us pay in bills each year.

Not gonna lie, looking at my latest electricity bill while reading about her 400W solar setup that powers everything she needs... kinda hurts lol.

Man, seeing how she lives makes our regular 9-5 bill-paying life seem kind of crazy in comparison.
