My hen has never been broody for this long! I can usually break her out of it within 5 days, but it's been almost 2 weeks and she is still insisting on hatching fake eggs! I've consistently removed her from the nesting box, blocked access (she squeezed through a tiny hole to get in), locked her in a wire cage for over a week now, dunked her in cold water, she's now been inside in the AC to try to help keep her temp down which I've NEVER had to do before. And she's still broody! I would try to let her out at least once a day to go dust bathe or socialize with the others, but she just beelines for the fucking nesting box every time, so i can barely even let her do that. What do i do so she can go back to being a chicken?
