New flock brought about 3 days ago, previously I lifted them up to the bar, but today I stopped thinking they would get the idea. (two others are on the bottom hidden away next to the black one as well..) will they gradually get the hang of it? Or am I going to have to lift them everyday! Are there any health risks with them not roosting, I’m sure it must be uncomfortable as it’s not natural for them to sleep ground level, the only one that made it to the top is our old hen- maybe them being scared of her is playing a part! I know they can jump as they fly around the garden perching on trees. silly girls !
