If you saw my post yesterday, I tooled my first belt, and mistakenly grabbed the DARK brown dye bottle instead of the LIGHT brown bottle I meant to use. Anyways, mixed up some fiebings neutral antique paste and about 10 drops of angelus cream paint and tried it out to make a “reverse antique”. I’m not sold on it just yet, and it really does look better in person than in photos. Let me know what you think! I’m still on the fence on whether I should salvage what I can off the belt and toss the rest, let it ride and finish it out, or what exactly to do.
