This is my very first leather strap that I managed to cut decently and it’s also my first time saddle stitching the strap completely. Would love to hear what’s good and not good about it from the forum to learn more. Also I don’t know why the stitching at the tip of the strap is all over the place, any tips on this ? Or did I punch the holes wrongly?

Another question I have would be, I am currently using a 0.3mm linen from meisi but have no idea how to end the stitch properly. Should I be using linen or polyester for watch straps? And do you guys have tips on how to secure a 0.3mm thread to the needle ?
