Yesterday afternoon I let the chooks out of the pen to forage in the yard for a few hours, as I do most days. When I returned to lock them up one was missing. I called out, rattled food, and checked every possible hiding spot but she was gone. We've had fox attacks in the past but there was no evidence of one either. I was stumped, she vanished. I kept me eye out all day today too and unfortunately there was no trace of her. I just happened to look out the yard now and there she was just roaming about! I wonder what she got up to for those 30 or so hours!

Anyone else have similar stories?
