If you have a clear view of the Northeast sky and it's not cloudy, step outside before going to bed and you'll probably catch a few really cool meteors. It's the Quadrantids, and they're only going to last for the next couple of hours (til about 1am central).

I managed to catch one nice shot of a meteor with a long exposure on my camera. But then those clouds moved in so I called it a night. (The 15° F temperatures might have had something to do with that decision too)

In the lower left is the steeple of a sweet little country church that we are neighbors to.
