Not as straightforward as my diamonds which had a sharp point and became uniform after the first mm or so.

1. For these french ones, how far do I need to go for a wallet (thickest piece will be 3-3.5oz which is the base).

2. Also, how do I line these up on the stitch line? Just directly in the middle?
