First time chicken lady

Ok so I have 4 Rhode Island Reds. 2 started laying at the end of September and the other 2 (I think) started laying shortly after. My question is with 4 girls laying I should realistically be getting 4 eggs a day right? No one has a dirty looking tush. Am i just being an overbearing mom or is there a way I can physically check the girls to see if something is wrong? Please help!

I am in Northwest Indiana so with the weather change that could be a factor too?
