Traditional mittens

Hi guys!

This is considered leather crafting where I come from, so I hope I am within the topic of this group! I usually make horse tack and belts (and other similar odd projects), but a few years ago I started looking into this traditional handcraft.

I attended a week long course to make full size blankets, and recently bought a book with old patterns for mittens and hats. The pattern for these ones are based on mittens dated to 1823, which I think is pretty cool.

They’re my first attempt at mittens ever, and even though there are some imperfections (the thumbs are sisters, not twins), they ARE mittens, so mission accomplished.
