So my broody hen is sweet as pie to us but wasn’t letting the other girls lay in the box next to her. We’ve quarantined her into another area. My question is well first if my other hens weren’t laying in those 3-4 days could they have a back log of eggs to lay? Or does their body not produce another until the one in the chamber has been laid? Also how common is it to have to wait 21 days for her to get her hormones back to normal.
