When I was a kid, I had purple heart sweet potatoes and I they were the best. I haven't had any since mainly because they are just not available in supermarkets. I have been passively looking for them for years. Whenever I talked to the locals, they always refer me to the purple skin white heart sweet potatoes, which is not as good as the standard yellow sweet potatoes. Anyway, yesterday, when I was in a random supermarket, I saw them. Purple heart sweet potatoes!!!!! I am absolutely delighted. I'm planning to make as many slips as I can and grow a tonne this year!!!!
