Austrian Railway Shenanigans
| So these are weird times for Austrian rolling stock: On the left, we have a train of the private carrier WestBahn, on the right, we have a former Westbahn-Train. It was sold to the german DB when they needed double-decker trains quickly because their IC2 were delayd. They changed the livery to the DB-white with the red stripe, but did not change the interiour. Now, the austrian federal railways (and only competitor of WestBahn), ÖBB, needed new trains quickly because a new high-speed line will open in december and there weren't enough trains to run on this line otherwise. So the ÖBB bought the old WestBahn-trains from DB - their IC2 had now arrived - and didn't bother to change the livery, they just slapped their own logo on it. Now we have the ÖBB running trains formerly owned by their fierce competitor WestBahn, with the WestBahn interiour, after they bought them from the DB, thus with the DB livery. Weird times...
