"For a brief time, CSX used its remaining four F-units on the short-lived Detroit-Atlanta Roadrailers--a contract service for General Motors. On a rainy day in April 1988, former Clinchfeld FP7 118 and F7B 119, a unit that originally worked for the Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis, bring southbound R211 around a reverse curve at rural Hazel Patch. The units' 95MPH passenger gearing proved to be a limiting factor on how much tonnage they could drag upgrade. Also, to conserve fuel for the long run, the units were only on-line and running one at a time."
