About 2 years ago I decided to crochet the Persian Tiles kit from Mary Maxim for my grandmother for Christmas, even working all the way up until I left to go back home after the holidays I still only barely got the blanket put together to show her and didn't have any ends weaved in, now 2 years later it took a day and a half to weave the ends in lol, I just dreaded doing it so much that I kept putting it off. If I ever made something like this again I'd definitely weave in as I went, but I was just trying to get all the components made and put together without having to wait another year for the next Christmas to show her. It has come out of the wash and I'll be wrapping it to give tomorrow, not a surprise to her but at least it's done!
