![]() | I picked up embroidery about 5 months ago to keep my hands busy to stop doomscrolling while I watch tv with my husband. It’s been great!! I’ve found that I really love embroidery, I’ve completed four projects and I’m so excited to keep going. The only problem: my husband is a “likes to watch tv in total darkness” kinda guy and my light to embroider is bothersome to him. He hadn’t asked me to stop, but I wanna be considerate. Ive tried a few different lighting options, but each has their drawback. I tried a clip on reading light, but it makes the hoop heavy and hurts my wrists. I tried an around the neck light, but even fully charged it wasn’t bright enough to see the details. I even got a floor light with a snaking head, but having the light right behind my head casts shadows on my hoop. Of course I can try to make one of these options work, I’m just wondering if there is some cool gadget I’m missing that could help. Pic of my most recent project. :) [link] [comments] |
