This time I was better at gauge/measurements, chose a more tedious stitch that took triple the time to make (cables are hard ????), and learned how to make a garment from the top (in the yoke(?)).

I gave it to its recipient without blocking it (still haven’t learned to do that myself), but passed along instructions to him for how to block because the fit was a bit rumple-y and he didn’t like how the neckline sits (too low in the back), hoping that will help. Used an absolute TON of yarn lol good thing it was on sale!

Feeling happy with my few months of progress, next sweater on the list is a loose cardigan with some original colour work and some slightly more complex stitch patterning.
