This hat is so many firsts for me! It's the foliage hat which is available for free on ravelry. First time doing cable stitches and a bunch of other stitches I had never used before, first time putting in (and using) a lifeline, first time laddering dropped stitches with a crochet hook, first time deciphering a pattern diagram. It's been such a great learning process. And I'm obsessed with the pattern. It's so satisfying seeing it materialize! I basically spent my whole weekend on this and have no regrets ????
