This 5" ornament was the freebie kit that came with the December 2024 issue of Cross Stitcher magazine. I was so excited to stitch it. It came with this printed cardstock-weight frame and backing; the stitching is trimmed and mounted between the frame and backing with foam squares to give it depth. There are tiny white beads and star sequins in the sky.

I sort of lived in this tiny village while I was stitching it, if that makes sense! It's so peaceful. I might stitch another one and mount it in a hoop so that all the stitching around the edges shows. The printed frame obscures the edges of the picture a bit.
