So far I’ve only done projects using kits and other people’s patterns, but this was the first one I did that I designed myself! (Although, I guess maybe that’s only half true- all of the individual flowers I took from the book Flower Lady Embroidery, but the layout and overall pattern drawing I did on my own, and swapped out some of the colors here and there)

I made it for my goddaughter who loves rainbows…just have to add her name. I’m not sure why I feel a tad underwhelmed now that it’s all done, but overall still pleased with how it turned out.
