I’ve been with my therapist for a year and a half and she just broke up with me (aka is leaving for a different practice) so I wanted to make her a gift for our last session together! I haven’t cross stitched in almost 3-4 years, but art has been a huge part of my healing journey with her and wanted to make sure I gave her a piece of artwork to keep with her in addition to some of my paintings/drawings. The butterfly meant a lot to me in our sessions as a symbol of ~transformation~ and she has literally changed my life. I thought these colors were sick on the black aida and matched her vibe super well. :)

There are surely a few mistakes in there so don’t look too closely…hopefully she won’t either haha. The pattern is from Catstitch21 on Etsy, I bought the butterfly and moth set of 6 so it’s Butterfly 3 I believe! In a 10in hoop for size reference.
