You might remember a few months ago when I posted a picture of troubles I was having after pen marking the fabric when doing Moomintroll Reading cross stitch. Even with washing I was having difficulty getting the pen marks not to show (world's most stubborn ink apparently) so I put it down in frustration and started a different project to have something moomin themed ready for my partner's graduation.

There are a few places where I deviated from the pattern, in one place because I miscounted and in another because I decided to change some colours. Still needs a wash, press, and a frame, but I love the way it turned out.
