Hi!

I was Blessed with the "I think I can do that" gene I absolutely love this idea.

I have absolutely no experience with embroidery but a little with sewing (my hand stitching around the edge of blankets I've made for my children)

My plan is to have my kids draw directly on a shirt

From what I can tell I need a hoop, stabilizer, embroidery needle, and embroidery thread.

For the stabilizer, that goes on the inside of the shirt where the design will be and stays there, right? Any suggestions on stabilizers?

When I start my thread on the needle, do I tie it on the end like when I sell and tie out on the back of the design when I'm finished?

Any other tips or suggestions?
