This was a discontinued pattern given to me by my nan over a year ago. When I started I didn't know what counts were, I didn't understand how big my X's were meant to be and I lost the reference sheet 1/4 of the way through.

The amount of stitches I've had to rip and painstakingly redo again and again. I had to improvise colours has I had no idea what symbols matched to what number.

My only wish was that I could have finished this before I lost my aunt, so I could have shown her. She was the cross stitch queen in my life, but I did get to include some of her threads. I'm proud of myself and I'm 100% going to frame this.
