I free handed this waistcoat stitch beanie for my daughter. I wanted to use waistcoat stitch to try out making this kind of design, but I also wanted the cat ear style of hat.

Now that I’ve sewn up the top, I feel like the ears look weird with this design. What do you think? Should I frog or go ahead and stitch the ears closed?
