Finally finished! I decided to scale up for this one (21cm by 12cm) and entirely underestimated how long it would take, so it feels like finishing a marathon.

I experimented with making the petals 3 dimensional using a variety of techniques across the petal sets. While I like the effect, they all made trying to achieve a smooth finish painfully slow and frustrating. So more experiments to come.

But first a small stumpwork peony, which should be a breeze in comparison ????
