Pattern – Dandelion from “Paint with Thread“ by Emillie Ferris

I did my best with the colors that I had in my embroidery thread stash that I accumulated over the past decade and a half from various garage sales with no DMC numbers on anything. My result is much more cartoonish than the original pattern, but I still had a great time. You can definitely tell that the leaf at 7 o’clock was the first time I had ever tried embroidery, but I think I definitely got better from there and once I decided to be more loose with the pattern guide.

I knew about the meme of French knots sucking. I do not like French knots. Tips to get them not to snag?

I used some leftover fabric that was originally a set of sheets that I made into a skirt, and now this is going to get turned into a farmers market bag.
