Pattern is Greek mythos manda by ExLibrist

This is my first blackwork, first time stitching on dark aida and first time stitching on 16ct. I had wanted to stitch this for a friend's bday/Christmas present but I don't think I'll be anywhere near done by then ????

I'm honestly losing motivation to work on this... I feel like it doesn't even look good though maybe I've just been looking too close at it. I've seen this stitched by others here and I just love the way it looks when completed so I hope I do finish and it looks as good as theirs ☺️
