I inherited this piece from my grandmother and so I’m not 100% if it’s self designed or what, but it was made in 1928 and clearly shows that this person (I’m assuming my great grandmother, we’re not sure) didn’t put the stitches together! She put them apart.

Now, I’m firmly in the whole, stitch next to each other camp, but I really love this piece. So, all stitching is equal!
