A (dorky) how-to for when you

Hello friends, lovers, and enemies! I saw that my comment and astonishingly beautiful MS paint diagram got a bunch of attention, so I thought I would share it as its own post.

Another user posted that they were using an embroidery kit and the needle that was supplied did not fit through the beads within the kit. In the event that you're in the same boat and don't have another needle available or it would be super annoying to stop where you are, here is my really dumb "hack" to save your sanity.

  1. Poke the needle up through the fabric. Bring it back down through the same hole, but leave a loop of thread.

  2. String the bead onto the loop. (Sometimes it's really annoying, but in a pinch you can often use the needle to push the loop through the bead).

  3. & 4. Bring the needle back up through the loop and back down into the same hole.

  4. Pull taught!
