I have finally overcome the sleeve islands

I have about 5 garments (or more) with the body done but no sleeves. After I finished the bodies it felt like I was done and I just never wanted to knit the sleeves.

For the most recent sweater I decided to knit the sleeves before finishing the body. It's the tulip loop sweater. I knitted the body until I just have one more cable repeat then moved onto the sleeves. I knitted the sleeves up SO FAST because essentially they are like 1/4 or less of the body circumference and it felt like I flew through them. Then I moved back onto the body and I only had 1 more cable repeat to go and finished it in two evenings.

I think I'm going to always do the sleeves first and save the last bit of the body for the end. I'm so happy this sweater took me only 3 weeks to knit up :)

(Pic is after I finished the sleeves and moved back onto the body)
