Gradient Yarn win! Also I might be addicted to vests…

I feel like I have to thank this sub Reddit for this project. I only started knitting about six months ago, and I bought some gradient yarn for a project I abandoned because it was too boring. Then I decided I didn’t like the look of the yarn knitted up. Then I found out here that this is a common problem, and lots of people suggested stripes! I figured that a pullover vest would be the easiest way to do that and not have mis matched stripes. I looked at lots of vest patterns to try and find the best construction for this, and the Hannah Slipover by the Knit Purl Girl seemed to fit the bill. There’s only two stripes of the gradient yarn by the front that are slightly mismatched, and I don’t think you can really tell.

The other yarn I had left over from a jumper I made so I am using girl math to decide that this project was free haha (except the pattern)

Also vests are my favourite thing to knit. This is my second, it only took a few weeks, and it has all my favourite things like shaping the neck and shoulders, and then just the right amount of boring stockinette stitching to take to work for my lunch breaks.
