[CHAT] If it doesn

Occasionally there's posts on the sub from someone experiencing horrible pangs of guilt about abandoning a project that wasn't bringing them joy, and I recently replied to one about something I stopped working on 30k stitches in because it wasn't bringing me joy.

This is White Pony in Bluebell Wood, by HAED. I got to the 30% mark before deciding to shelve it. The weird color bands in the pony's tummy were really bothering me, especially with the strange neon green shades on what should be a white horse. I've hung on to it for years thinking I might come back to it, but today I'm "cutting the cords" and setting this one free. Finishing it won't bring me joy, and neither will seeing it on a wall.

So while I'm cutting the fabric off to reuse for a hopefully joyful project in the future, I just thought I'd drop this on the sub and let everyone know that, no matter how far you are into a project, it's always OK to set it free!
