I did my usual unwind of a hank before placing on chair and feeding it into my yarn winder. This isn't my first hank of yarn and I know how to handle it to keep it from tangling. I am not sure what was up with this hank, but it was tangled from the get go. Now I'm picking at it slowly... wish me luck.
