TW: Cancer

The week I started this project, I found out I had cancer. This project sat untouched for the first few weeks as I dealt with the stress & uncertainty of it all. I eventually decided to pick her back up. I worked on her during infusions and during a lot of my recovery days. I just finished her today, a week before my surgery. I’m super proud of how she turned out and working on this definitely helped me cope/come to terms with my situation. She’ll earn a special place on my wall for sure.
