Started this January 4th, 2022 and at the time didn’t know just how special this project would be to me. A couple months after starting, I found out I was pregnant with my first child. Put the project away for a while as I was extremely sick for majority of the pregnancy, but picked it back up when my baby was a few months old to get a bit of my postpartum sanity back. Did a lot of stitching during numerous nap times when he was little and it was the perfect ‘me time’ activity. I’ve put it away and taken it out a few more times since then, and my now almost 2 year old toddler LOVES sitting in my armchair and looking at the picture and pointing out all the houses (and tries to sneakily get into my thread stash). My now husband and I bonded over this game, and I can’t wait to get it framed and hang up in our little guy’s new playroom.

I will also be very happy to not stitch anything with an excessive amount of blue or green for a while now.
