I started this kit long after I purchased it. Unfortunately since then the yarn has been discontinued and I don’t have enough to finish the beige background. It’s Sprightly worsted in Suede. I checked ravelry and 34 people have it in their stash but only one was willing to trade. She never responded to my plea. Tried a google search, eBay and a few other places without success.

I have enough to do maybe 4-5 edging rows if I quit the stockinette early but I think it will look lame. Do I reach out to the NFS yarn stash people, try to match it to another yarn, or quit early? This was a difficult knit for me and I was very proud of it as a gift to my sister who is all about sheepy. What would you do?
