This is my second ever finished project and I'm so proud of it! My first project was a tiny blue tit on plastic aida, the size of only one of the bigger leaves on this one, so I was concerned I had bitten over way more than I could chew. But look, see, I did it! ????

I loved working with the variegated threads and the linen was not at all an issue like I was fearful of before I started.

I chose to use a stretch frame to make it more like a painting, but I wish I had the opportunity to add a dark brown frame around it.. It has to be custom made because of the not-standard-measurements, and would double the budget that was already surpassing 200 dollars (it's a gift for my inlaws, so my partner and his sisters paid for the materials and I did the stitching).

Now I have a couple of other projects to finish and I look forward to posting those soon ❤️
