So I'm from Brazil and here we do not have reliable sources to buy DMC floss. I know 3 brazilian stores carry it but it's pricey and a lot of the colors aren't available. When my friend traveled to the US in February she offered to bring me whatever I wanted to buy so of course I placed an order of 132 skeins on 123stitch to be delivered at her friend's house!

...then USPS happened. They delayed my package for almost 2 weeks and by the time it arrived she was back home and couldn't bring the floss to me. Then we had to find a solution so I wouldn't lose all of these which cost me a lot lol.

We found a redirecting company that ships to Brazil with reasonable rates. Her friends shipped the package to that company which then repackaged it and shipped it again to me in Brazil. I paid a lot on shipping + taxes but after almost 2 months of wait it's finally here ????

This floss is all I need for my next project: Naptime by Randal Spangler, charted by haed. It'll be my first big full coverage and I'm excited to spend the next five years stitching it lol

Being a stitcher on a 3rd world country isn't easy, we deal with a lot of stuff that most people in this sub will hopefully never go through but we always find a way to be able to continue stitching ????
