I saw an Instagram ad for this stamped cross stitch kit and knew I had to make it for my husband (who wasn't my husband then). In the 9 months it took me to finish we managed to watch the entire show because I'd never seen it.

In the past 4 years I've stitched a lot more and my pieces have got much neater (the stitches on this one go in both directions and there's one missing stitch in Luffy's coat I think) but this one will always be the most special piece in our house because it started the obsession and it was the truest labour of love.
