No more twisted stitches thanks to this Reddit! Any other obvious mist…
Hi! Thanks to this Reddit I’ve realised I was making twisted stitches in my blanket (in the background). I saw someone else’s post and I’ve realised I had the same issue! I’m very grateful! I thought I would post the newborn hat I am making now, maybe there are other obvious mistakes I’m making? More context: I’m a beginner, but I was taught some basics when I was a young girl (around 12 maybe?) and haven’t knitted since. My daughter received a knitted blanket and a hat in the hospital after she was born and struggled to keep temperature. I always think about kind hearted person that worked on it for a newborn they never met and gifted it to the hospital. I would like to give something back for other babies so now I am trying to learn how to do things properly! This is second thing I’ve tried to make. How is my hat going? I think it looks much nicer than my blanket now that I know how to not twist every second row. Is there anything else you could spot? It’s also the first time ever I’ve done 1x1 rib. Hope you are all doing well! [link] [comments] |
