This bell pull pattern is from the old Leisure Arts “Jacobean Designs” leaflet. I recently completed the smaller bell pull from the same booklet.

I’m stitching 2 over 2 on 28ct linen (including for the backstitch in the pattern fill - usually I’d use one strand, but I felt it matched better on those areas of fill where it’s just a standard full cross stitch as part of the pattern, and on 28ct it wasn’t TOO dense. If I were on even 16/32ct, I’d make different choices.)

I love this antique-feeling design, and the fills are particularly satisfying - different from even blackwork that I’ve worked on.
