Just finished a free, 5 day embroidery portrait course and chose the indomitable Gisele Pelicot as my subject. She is a fantastic muse and I have 100s of ideas buzzing round my head for new projects to stitch.

This was entirely out of my comfort zone and I'm so glad I pushed myself to take part. She's far from perfect though it's ignited a spark in me that previously was hidden
