I’m obsessed with the BasicAran Pullover by Hitomi Shida but the pattern is only offered in Japanese (which I don’t speak).

Normally I wouldn’t even consider buying a pattern in an unknown language, but I’ve heard Japanese knitting patterns are usually fully charted.

Has anyone tried knitting from one using just the charts and Google Translate? I feel like it would be doable if knitting terms translate well between Japanese and English. Would I be crazy to try it?

If someone knows of a version of the pattern available in English that would also be super appreciated!
