Earlier this year a got quite into drawing toads so it made sense that when I started cross stitching a few months ago that I would carry that forward. This is a pattern that I designed on flosscoss. It was my first time trying to use back stitch and my pattern was more of a rough guide and I improvised along the way. In the future I think I will definitely take more time on the pattern side instead of barrelling along headfirst into the stitching.
