First post in this sub after lurking for a while! :)

I just started crocheting in 2025! Prior to this blanket, I had made gloves for a friend and some coasters/potholders, but like nothing major. Then I saw the Persian tiles Eastern jewels pattern and colorway on TikTok and I was like… I need to make that. So I did. And I’m super happy with how it turned out!! This was the first time I had color changes and my first time making a granny square at all, lol. Anyway, just here to show it off because I’m super happy it’s finally finished. And I’m now hooked on this hobby so I am excited to start a new project, after my finals are finished tomorrow. :)))
