Pattern is Satsuma Street Washington DC

My sister and her boyfriend moved from DC to Atlanta after meeting there and living there almost 10 years. I‘m a longtime stitcher but recently found this designer (Satsuma Street). I saw this pattern around Thanksgiving and instantly thought of her. I asked if she liked it before stitching to make sure she’d want it (cross stitch isn’t everyone’s aesthetic) and she said she loved it. So I got to mad stitching, every night after our toddler went to sleep. Finished it on Wednesday, went to Michael’s and found this frame. Originally wanted to have it matted but they can’t cut round mats, so I just wrapped it around some foam board with a quilting glue pen and got it as straight and centered as I could.

I love the pattern in this frame. I probably could have framed it better or straighter but i think it looks great for a first time self framing.
