This mf nearly broke me. In theory, all the components are fine. African Flower shexagons? Sure! Not too hard. The striped side is all half double crochet which is my favourite stitch. I don't even mind single crochet ribbing. But the assembly? Omg terrible! I did all the right things. I made swatches- luckily I did, I had to go down a whole hook size (4mm)! And the pattern was all over the place trying to figure out where the 3/4 and 1/4 squares lined up was its own version of hell. Most of the 1/2 hexagons could have been full one and saved the stitching.whats more is that if I had followed the pattern exactly there is no way the two sides would line up. As it stands it's still a little wonky even with my prior knowledge of jumper making. A great example of "good idea, bad execution". 5/10 would only recommend if you're experienced and/or ambitious
